Rangeway and Juice Partner to Bring Plug-and-Go Charging to Hospitality-Driven EV Network
December 03, 2025
Strategic partnership enables automatic charging and payments, extending the seamless experience from charger to Driver’s Lounge
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – December 3, 2025 – Rangeway, America’s first hospitality-driven EV charging network, today announced a strategic technology partnership with Juice Serve Inc. (“Juice”), a computer-vision identity and payments company, to power a plug-and-go charging and retail experience across Rangeway’s upcoming locations.
The partnership makes Juice the core identity and payments layer for all future Rangeway sites. After a one-time vehicle registration, drivers will be able to pull into any Rangeway location, plug in, and have charging start and bill automatically in the background. No apps, cards, or QR codes required. In the initial phase this will apply to EV charging, with a clear roadmap to extend the same seamless payment experience to café purchases, retail, and other amenities.
Rangeway is building a premium charging network where thoughtful hospitality and reliable infrastructure are designed together from the start. The network serves road-trippers and adventure travelers along scenic highways and gateway communities that remain underserved by today’s networks. Juice’s computer-vision platform extends well beyond the charging post, turning the vehicle into a secure, reusable identity that can unlock a broader membership and loyalty experience at Rangeway locations.
“Charging shouldn’t feel like a chore. It should feel like part of the journey,” said Zak Winnick, Founder and CEO of Rangeway. “Juice gives us the layer we needed to make that real: drivers arrive, plug in, step inside our Driver’s Lounge, and everything from charging to checkout just works. It lets us treat technology as an invisible concierge, not a barrier.”
Together, Rangeway and Juice will develop a loyalty-driven experience that looks more like a modern hotel or airline rewards program than a traditional fuel card. Drivers will earn rewards for charging and on-site purchases, with the long-term goal of using their vehicle as a single, secure identity for services like retail, lounge access, car wash, and parking at Rangeway locations.
“Our mission at Juice is simple: make every compatible EV feel like it’s on the best network in the world, wherever it plugs in,” said James Murfin, Co-Founder and CEO of Juice. “Rangeway is designing the kind of places drivers actually want to stop. Together, we’re not experimenting. We’re building the default experience for scenic corridor charging in the US.”
What the Partnership Delivers
Under the partnership, Juice and Rangeway will:
-
Bring plug-and-go charging to all compatible EVs at Rangeway sites via one-time vehicle registration and automatic session start and billing.
-
Power a hospitality-grade membership and loyalty experience, enabling guests to earn and redeem rewards on charging and in-store purchases, with personalized offers based on visit history where permitted.
-
Extend the “car as ID” concept beyond charging over time, exploring seamless access to Driver’s Lounges, walk-in/walk-out retail, car wash, and parking services at Rangeway locations.
-
Support Rangeway’s network of staffed Basecamp destinations and automated Waystation stops, all built around the same indoor comfort guarantee that defines the Rangeway experience.
What’s Next
Rangeway is assembling the technology partnerships and site pipeline needed to deploy its first locations, connecting travelers to iconic destinations where charging infrastructure has historically been unreliable or absent. Juice will be integrated from day one as the identity and payments backbone, with a roadmap to expand across future Rangeway sites in California, Colorado, and additional scenic corridors.
As the network grows, the companies plan to share data-backed case studies on how computer-vision identity and hospitality-driven design can deliver both better driver experiences and stronger unit economics for corridor charging.
